The payment options available for your order are always shown on the checkout page before you confirm anything, and only options that are active for your order appear there.
\n
\n
Payments at a glance
\n
\n
Currency: all prices are in US dollars (USD).
\n
Where to see options: on the checkout page, before you place your order.
\n
When you are charged: when you place your order.
\n
Security: payments are handled by the payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
\n
Shipping: free on every order, so the total is the item price plus any tax that applies.
\n
Refunds: approved refunds reach your original payment method within 7 calendar days of approval.
\n
\n
\n
1. Accepted payment methods
\n
The payment methods you can use are listed on the checkout page once your cart and address are entered, because availability can depend on your country and the order. We list only methods that are switched on and working for the store; we do not show logos for options you cannot actually use. If you do not see a method you would like to use, email support@honeyshirt.com before ordering and we will tell you what is available.
\n
We do not accept payment by email, over the phone, in cash, by gift card from another retailer, or by personal bank transfer to an individual. Any request to pay Honeyshirt outside the checkout page is not from us; please forward it to us rather than paying.
\n
When we add or change a payment option, we update this page at the same time so that what you read here always matches what you see at checkout. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page tells you when that last happened.
\n
2. Step by step: paying at checkout
\n
\n
Add your tees to the cart and check the size, colour and any personalization on each line.
\n
Open the cart and select Proceed to checkout.
\n
Enter your email address, shipping address and, if different, your billing address. Shipping options and their cost (free) appear once the address is entered.
\n
Choose one of the payment options shown and complete any step your payment provider asks for, such as a security check with your bank.
\n
Review the order summary, then place your order. The order confirmation page and email show your order number and the amount charged.
\n
\n
Your order is created only when a payment succeeds. If the payment fails, nothing is printed and no order is placed, so you can safely try again.
\n
3. Currency and international cards
\n
Prices on honeyshirt.com are shown and charged in US dollars. If you live in Canada, Australia or New Zealand, or your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts the amount into your currency. The exchange rate and any foreign transaction fee are set by your bank or card issuer, not by Honeyshirt, so the amount on your statement can differ slightly from a currency converter. Import duties or taxes that your country may charge on arrival are separate from the checkout payment and are explained in our Shipping & Delivery policy.
\n
4. When you are charged
\n
Your payment method is charged when you place your order, because printing starts after payment is confirmed. If we later cancel all or part of your order, or you cancel within 24 hours under Cancel or Change an Order, we refund the relevant amount and it reaches you within 7 calendar days of our confirmation.
\n
Some banks show a temporary authorization (a “pending” amount) that drops off on its own once the final charge settles. If you retried a failed payment, you may briefly see two pending amounts even though only one order exists; the extra one is released by your bank, usually within a few days. If it does not disappear, contact us with both references and we will help.
\n
5. How your payment is protected
\n
The whole site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, shown by the padlock in your browser. Card and account details are entered into the payment provider’s secure systems and sent directly to them; they are never stored on our servers and our team never sees your full card number. Card payments are processed by PCI DSS–compliant providers. Your bank may ask you to confirm a payment with an extra step such as 3-D Secure, a one-time code or an approval in your banking app. That step comes from your card issuer and adds protection against unauthorised use.
\n
6. If your payment is declined
\n
A payment can be declined when the billing address does not match the card, the card has expired, the security code was mistyped, funds are insufficient, the card does not allow online or international purchases, or the bank flags an unusual purchase. Things to try:
\n
\n
Check that the billing address and ZIP or postal code match what your bank has on file.
\n
Re-enter the card number, expiry date and security code carefully.
\n
Approve the purchase in your banking app if your bank sent a notification.
\n
Try a different payment option shown at checkout, or contact your bank.
\n
\n
We cannot see why a bank declined a payment, so your bank is the best source for the exact reason. If you see the same order charged twice, send us both transaction references and we refund any duplicate charge within 7 calendar days.
\n
7. Order verification
\n
To protect customers from card fraud, we or our payment provider may occasionally ask you to confirm an order before we print it, for example when the billing and shipping countries differ or an order is unusually large. We will only ask by email from support@honeyshirt.com and will never ask for your full card number, security code or password. If we cannot verify a payment, we cancel the order and refund it in full.
\n
8. Taxes
\n
Any sales tax, GST or VAT that applies to your order is calculated at checkout from your shipping address and shown in the order summary before you pay. Shipping is free and adds nothing to the total. Import charges collected by customs authorities in Canada, Australia or New Zealand are not part of the checkout payment.
\n
9. Discount codes and store credit
\n
If you have a valid discount code, enter it in the coupon field on the cart or checkout page; the discount appears in the order summary before you pay. Codes cannot be applied after an order is placed. Store credit issued from a return can be applied by our support team to a new order. Promotion terms are set out in our Terms of Service.
\n
10. Refunds back to your payment method
\n
Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used and reach it within 7 calendar days of approval. Approval happens when we receive and inspect a return, approve a photo claim, or confirm a cancellation. You receive an email when the refund is issued. Refunds are made in US dollars; if your bank converts currencies, the amount in your currency can differ slightly because of exchange-rate movements. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
\n
11. Paying for someone else, gifts and group orders
\n
You can pay for a tee that ships to someone else: just enter their address as the shipping address and yours as the billing address. If you would rather the recipient not see what you paid, say so in the order notes and we will confirm by email what the packing paperwork will show. For group orders, such as family reunion tees, one person pays for the whole order; we cannot split one order across several cards, so group members who want to pay separately should place separate orders.
\n
12. What your order’s payment status means
\n
Your order confirmation email and your account page show a status for each order. These statuses describe the payment and production stage, so you always know whether money has moved.
\n
\n
Order payment statuses
\n
\n
\n
Status
\n
What it means
\n
What you should do
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Pending payment
\n
The order was started but the payment has not been confirmed by the provider.
\n
Finish the payment step, or wait a few minutes; if it stays pending, contact us before paying again.
\n
\n
\n
Failed
\n
The payment did not go through, so no order is printed.
\n
Check your details or try another option shown at checkout.
\n
\n
\n
Processing
\n
Payment received; your tee is being printed and checked.
\n
Nothing; you will get a shipping email with tracking.
\n
\n
\n
Completed
\n
The order has shipped.
\n
Follow the tracking link in your shipping email.
\n
\n
\n
Cancelled
\n
The order was cancelled before shipping.
\n
Look for the refund confirmation email; the money arrives within 7 calendar days.
\n
\n
\n
Refunded
\n
A full or partial refund has been issued.
\n
Allow up to 7 calendar days from approval for it to appear.
\n
\n
\n
\n
13. Disputes and chargebacks
\n
If a charge on your statement looks unfamiliar, check first whether it matches a Honeyshirt order confirmation, including orders placed by someone in your household. If something is wrong, contact us before opening a dispute with your bank: duplicate charges, missing refunds and wrong amounts are usually fixed within a day or two by email. Contacting us never removes your right to dispute a charge with your bank or payment provider, and if you have already opened a dispute, we still cooperate fully and share the order details the provider requests.
\n
14. Using shared or public devices
\n
If you order from a shared family computer, a work laptop or a public device, sign out of your account when you finish, do not let the browser save your card details, and close the browser window. If you think someone else has placed an order using your account, contact us straight away; we can pause the order before printing and help you secure the account.
\n
15. Keep your payment details safe
\n
\n
We will never ask for your card number, security code, one-time passcode or password by email, chat, text message or phone.
\n
Never include payment details in a support ticket or email, even to us.
\n
Check that the address bar shows honeyshirt.com and a padlock before entering any details.
\n
If you receive a message claiming to be from Honeyshirt that asks for payment details, forward it to support@honeyshirt.com and delete it.
\n
\n
16. Contact us
\n
Questions about a payment? Email support@honeyshirt.com with your order number and we reply within 1 business day. You can also submit a ticket or read our Privacy Policy to see how payment information is handled.
\n","visible_characters":10253,"meta_description":"How paying for a Honeyshirt order works: options shown at checkout, USD pricing, when you are charged, payment security, declined payments and refunds.","parent":null,"published_at":"2026-10-02T11:47:35+00:00","updated_at":"2026-10-02T11:48:45+00:00"}}
